It is with great pleasure I welcome you to the University of Houston Black Alumni Association website. Here you will find the information you need to connect or reconnect to UHBAA. If you don’t find the information you are looking for, send us an e-mail and someone will reply back to you soon.

It is indeed an honor and a privilege to serve my third consecutive term as President of UHBAA. UHBAA encompasses a wide variety of dedicated and talented alumni and friends. Founded in 1988, UHBAA is the longest standing active special interest of the University of Houston Alumni Association representing the entire body of UH African American alumni.

Currently, the UHBAA boosts a proud membership base of 11,000 plus UH African American alumni, included in UHBAA membership base are NASA astronauts, military colonels, movie producers, professional athletes, professional actors and actress, teachers, preachers, social workers, CEO’s, doctors, lawyers, nurses, engineers, and so much more. This is an association to be proud of and join. Review this website to discover some of UHBAA’s Distinguished Alumni.

I’m grateful to the men and women who had the courage to form an advisory group whose mission it was to create UHBAA. However, in order for UHBAA to continue its growth, we need your involvement, your participation, your financial support and your commitment. UHBAA’s progress and growth comes as a direct result of alumni who care to give back to the University of Houston.

The members of UHBAA’s Board of Directors are your representatives and serve as your voice to the University of Houston community. Not ready to serve on UHBAA Board of Directors? UHBAA has several committees where your talents and treasures can be utilized. Please review the current committees of UHBAA under the Get Involved tab. UHBAA offers educational, social, philanthropic, and character enriching activities and events for alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of UH and the greater Houston community.

There is much more to learn about UHBAA and the alumni who make UHBAA great. Therefore, I encourage you explore this website and join both the University of Houston Alumni Association and the University of Houston Black Alumni Association to connect or reconnect with your fellow classmates and friends.
