ANNOUNCES ITS 2012 DISTINGUISHED HONOREES AT PRE-GALA KICKOFF RECEPTION

The University of Houston Black Alumni Association (UHBAA) is proud to announce its 2012 Distinguished Alumni Honorees. This year's honorees include names that are prominent nationally, locally as well as on the UH campus. The 2012 winners will be formally honored at the 23rd Annual Scholarships & Awards Gala, to be held March 30, 2012 at the Hilton Americas Hotel. A pre-gala kickoff reception will be held on Friday January 20, 2012 hosted by Bayway Lincoln Volvo at their Gulf Freeway location. The year 2012 also marks the 50th anniversary of THE FIRST African-American students to be enrolled at the University. All UH Alumni, past UHBAA honorees, UH faculty, UH staff and UHBAA sponsors are invited to attend. You must RSVP today as space is limited.

UHBAA is excited to be honoring these great UHBAA alumni for their dedication to the University of Houston Black Alumni Association. With over 12,000+ UHBAA alumni and countless more that care deeply about UHBAA, it's very difficult to select our honorees each year, but this is a very special group.
